These tell us which pages people use, where they came from, and where they get stuck, and they measure whether our advertising works. Nothing in this category loads until you allow it, except that PostHog counts the visit itself while storing nothing on your device — so it cannot recognise you on a later one. Declining stops that too.

This one setting has a narrow job: it tells Google whether its tags may use storage for functionality and personalisation, rather than only for measurement.
